Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, also called Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is a popular American rapper and singer. His stage name is a tribute to the name of a favorite uncle combined with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He signed a contract for joint-recording with Epic and T.I. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo, his first studio album was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". His follow-up album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott's sophomore album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in late 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. Following the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to have three singles reach number 1 in less that a year in 2020.
